Our Special Story believes in empowering children’s learning, enabling their independence and enriching their quality of life. We provide quality and individualised Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays. We aspire to give children with special needs equal opportunities to learn and grow. 

 

Teaching children with autism is challenging and requires dedication, enthusiasm and patience. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children with special needs and possess the right attitude.

Behaviour Therapist

Comprehensive training in ABA will be provided prior to starting the position. You will learn how to manage behaviours; engage and play with children; and carry out various strategies to teach and prompt children with autism effectively. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. 

 

You will 

  • Teach children with autism spectrum disorder and special needs using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.

  • Provide school shadowing services to children in mainstream schools.

  • Prompt students and assist Senior Behaviour Therapist and/or Behaviour Consultant during social groups.

  • Receive regular training and supervision

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology, Education, or related studies 

  • Strong willingness to learn

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently 

  • Fun, loving and energetic

  • Enjoy working with children

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willing to conduct home based therapy in various locations (Transport allowance provided)

  • Singaporean only

Senior Behaviour Therapist

 

You will 

  • Teach children with autism spectrum disorder and special needs using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies

  • Provide school shadowing services to children in mainstream schools

  • Plan, lead and /or prompt students during social groups

  • Receive regular training and supervision

  • Provides analysis, programming and behavioural recommendations

  • Assists in writing behaviour plans and tracking forms for cases

  • Support and mentor junior behaviour therapists

 

Requirements

  • Min. 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy

  • Degree in Psychology, Education, or related studies 

  • Strong willingness to learn

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently 

  • Fun, loving and energetic

  • Enjoy working with children

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Takes initiative

  • Leadership qualities

  • Willing to conduct home based therapy in various locations (Transport allowance provided)

  • Singaporean only
