Early Intervention
for children with autism
Tackle delays early
Is your child missing his milestones?
Developmental milestones are things most children are able to do by a certain age. How your child speaks, plays, learns, moves, and behaves can provide important insights into their development.
By 2 years old, most children are able to:
-
Follow 1–2 step instructions
-
Say several words and form simple phrases (2–4 words)
-
Copy others
-
Point to objects when named
-
Engage in pretend play
-
Begin to run
If your child is showing signs of delays, it is important to act early.
We understand that it can feel overwhelming and even frightening to realise your child may be falling behind developmental milestones. It can be difficult to process and stressful for families.
But you are not alone.
At Our Special Story, we are here to support and guide you through this journey.
Recognising these signs is an important first step.
The next step is getting your child the support they need.
Don’t wait and see — early intervention makes a meaningful difference.
Our Early Intervention Program is
-
designed for children with autism,
-
provides the attention your child deserves, and
-
where your child can learn effectively.

What is early intervention?
Early intervention refers to the services and support provided to young children with developmental delays and their families. These may include therapies such as ABA therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
Research has shown that early intervention can make a significant difference in a child’s development—enhancing their ability to learn new skills, overcome challenges, and increasing their long-term success in school and life.
At Our Special Story, our early intervention programme is designed to support and reduce developmental delays while equipping your child with meaningful, functional skills for everyday living.
Our ABA early intervention sessions are conducted in a natural, fun, and engaging environment—because we believe children learn best when they feel happy, motivated, and supported.
There is never a dull day at Our Special Story.

Thank you Our Special Story. I saw great improvement in my son in term of his speech ability and behavioral change after attending few home sessions. The therapist who attend to my son is very friendly yet effective in guiding my son along.
Mum of D
Our baby D's therapist is Ms Carolyn. A patient lady who knows how to handle my girl who could not sit down for a short period of time. After a few sessions, she is able to sit down for a good 30 mins of work time and is more verbal in the correct manner like 'I see' or 'I'm (action)-ing'.
D loves it when she arrives at the doorstep as she is friendly and cheerful. The progression for our little one was improving very well thanks to her specialties.
