Early Intervention
for children with autism

Tackle delays early

Is your child missing his milestones?

Development milestones are things most children can do by a certain age.

How your child speaks, plays, learns, moves and behaves provides signs of your child's development.

By 2 years old, most children are able to

  • follow 1 to 2 steps instructions

  • say several words and say sentences with 2 to 4 words

  • copy others

  • point to things when named

  • pretend play

  • begins to run

If your child is showing signs of delays, it is important to act early.

It is very scary to realise that your child is falling behind his/her milestones. It is difficult to comprehend. It is stressful.

But know that you are not alone

We are here to help and support you.

By noticing these delays is a great first step.

Getting the help your child needs is next important step.

Don't wait and see.

Our Early Intervention Program is

  • designed for children with autism,

  • provides the attention your child deserves, and

  • where your child can learn effectively.

Building Blocks

What is early intervention?

Early intervention is the term used to describe the services and supports that are available to young children with developmental delays and their families (e.g. ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, etc)

Research has shown that early intervention can have a significant impact on a child’s ability to learn new skills and overcome challenges. It can also increase success in school and life.

The purpose of our early intervention program is to improve the developmental delays your child is facing. and teach them functional skills that benefits them for life.

Our ABA early intervention class is carried out in a natural, fun and engaging environment. It is never a dull day at Our Special Story!

What our clients say about us

Jamie Ng

Grace is very knowledgeable and my son has certainly benefitted from her home therapy sessions over the years! She is very supportive and cognisant of my son's needs and the consistent feedback really helps. We really hope and want to have her continuing with us in our journey for years to come!

Cherry Ying

Thank you Our Special Story. I saw great improvement in my son in term of his speech ability and behavioral change after attending few home sessions. The therapist who attend to my son is very friendly yet effective in guiding my son along.

Mum of D

Our baby D's therapist is Ms Carolyn. A patient lady who knows how to handle my girl who could not sit down for a short period of time. After a few sessions, she is able to sit down for a good 30 mins of work time and is more verbal in the correct manner like 'I see' or 'I'm (action)-ing'.

D loves it when she arrives at the doorstep as she is friendly and cheerful. The progression for our little one was improving very well thanks to her specialties.
