Reading of various verbs and sight words in sentences

How to use

  • Print out the pages and cut along the middle line.

  • Staple the pages together to make a mini book

  • Get your child to point to each dot prompt according to the word he is reading


Teaching tips

  • Ensure that your child is looking at the words when reading

  • Model reading for your child first

  • Prompt reading by sounding out the first sound of the word



Embed more learning opportunities

  • Expressive language: What action is this?/ What is the boy doing?

  • Circle the word 'can'

  • Show me how you run/kick the ball
