How to use

  • For younger children, cut out the pictures and let your child match the pictures of the action words to the matching picture of the action word

  • Provide clear instructions ie. match with same, put with ‘swimming’

  • For children who are able to read, you can work on picture to word matching or word to picture matching




Teaching tips

  • Cover or hide the cut out pictures to create some suspense and fun for your child

  • Laminate the mats and cut out pictures for multiple uses


Embed more learning opportunities

  • Receptive language - show me which one is “reading”

  • Expressive language - what is the boy doing?
