Reading activity with cut and paste activities


Teaching Objectives

  • Learning vocabulary about things in the playground

  • Matching non-identical pictures

How to use

  • Cut out or let your child practise cutting the pictures provided

  • Have your child read the sentence on each page

  • Lay out a few cut out pictures and let your child match the correct item





Teaching tips

  • Read the sentences word by word with your child if your child is just starting to read.

  • Pair this matching activity with a song/video or bring them to playground to create a more interactive learning experience
