How to use

Colouring and tracing activities

  • Colouring pages with border prompts and different shapes to colour for generalisation

  • Encourage your child to say “S for Santa! P for present!” after colouring

  • Find the crayon of the correct colour

  • Encourage your child to trace and read the words




Santa beard (numbers and alphabets)

  • Help Santa to complete his number/alphabet beard!

  • Parent and child can take turns to recite numbers and alphabets aloud

  • Child to find and cover the number/alphabet with cotton wool

  • You may also use dot stickers/crayons/dot paint to cover the numbers/alphabets




Teaching tips

  • Point out the different things associated with Christmas everywhere you go! “I see a christmas tree! “Look, that is an elf!”

  • Print multiple Santa Beards and make it into a fun family activity! Whose Santa has the nicest beard!


Embed more learning opportunities

  • Receptive language: Where is the star? Point to Santa

  • Expressive language: How to spell star? What is this?
