What is it

A set of worksheets to teach colours through matching, colouring, cut and paste and tracing activities


Teaching Objectives

  • Identify basic colours (i.e. red, blue, yellow, green)

  • Learn to read and write colour words 

  • Practise matching, colouring, tracing and writing skills 





How to use

  • Read the word and help your child to associate the colour word to the correct colour

  • Encourage your child to read the words aloud 

  • Encourage your child to spell out the letters while writing the letters of the words





Teaching tips

  • Play I spy with your child at home or outside. Say “I spy something that is (colour)” get your child to find the item

  • Pair this worksheet with videos to make learning colours more fun
