Trick or treat! Happy Halloween!



What is it Halloween themed worksheets

  • A set of worksheets to work on matching, tracing, writing, and counting


Teaching Objectives

  • Working on sustained colouring, tracing, and writing

  • Scanning and identifying the identical images, colors

  • Sustaining attention for counting and its different formats (e.g., count and color, count and circle)




How to use

  • Familiarise child with labels associated with the theme such as pumpkin, ghost

  • Point to the pictures to guide child to look and attend

  • Explain the objective of each worksheet and prompt child through initial steps and fade prompt when child understands objective

  • Through watching the videos, introduce different concepts regarding the holiday and the activities that can be done such as visiting haunted houses, telling scary stories and going trick-or-treating

  • Engage child in learning the labels in the videos and point out or repeat after when seeing the different labels such as ghost, owl, witch, spider (sing along to Itsy Bitsy Spider along)


Embed more learning opportunities

  • Receptive language - Point to the black cat
