What is it Shopping Mall themed worksheets

Teaching Objectives

  • Working on sustained colouring, tracing, and writing

  • Scanning and identifying the identical images, colours

  • Sustaining attention for counting and its different formats (e.g., simple addition, subtraction)

How to use

  • Familiarise child with labels associated with the theme such as the different signs we see in the shopping mall: toilet sign, exit sign

  • Point to the pictures to guide child to look and attend

  • Explain the objective of each worksheet and prompt child through initial steps and fade prompt when child understands objective

  • Pair this worksheet with videos to aid the understanding of the theme

  • While watching the videos, point out the different things that can be found at the shopping mall such as grocery store/supermarket or mention the different activities that can be done in the mall such as buying/purchasing items at shops and eating at the cafeterias
