How to use

  • Guide your child to look at the pictures and label them one by one

  • Recite each letter as your child is tracing it

  • Prompt your child to read the word again after writing

Teaching tips

  • Start with the tracing worksheet first if they are unfamiliar with the action verbs and move on to writing when they are more fluent

  • If needed, prompt your child by using a hand over hand prompt to trace and slowly reduce the hand holding pressure to reduce assistance

  • Use a thick or triangular pencil to help your child hold the pencil with a tripod grip
